North Cedar School
An Elementary Center is located in Mechanicsville and Lowden.
The Middle School and High School is located in Clarence.
Mechanicsville Telephone and Cable
Located at 102 N. John Street in Mechanicsville.
The Mechanicsville Post Office
Located at the corner of John Street and First Street.
City of Mechanicsville Services
Water meters are read once a month and bills are mailed out the first of each month and are due on the 15th of that month.
Yard Waste:
The City Shed is open the 1st Saturday of each month between April and November from
Garbage is picked up on Monday mornings starting at 7 a.m.
Recycling is picked up on Monday morning.
Clean up Days are held in the Spring (April) and Fall (October) for removal of such items as appliances, metal, gas tanks, car batteries, tires and miscellaneous items. County residents may contact the Cedar County Transfer Station for disposal of such items as waste oil, oil filters, anti freeze, chemicals, paints, etc. 563-886-6437.
